Artist's Statement

"If there is one phrase I'd use to describe my
photography, it would be 'A Sense of Place.'
In my work, I attempt to take the perceptible
elements (line, color, shape, texture, form
and space) of a scene and combine them
with compositional concepts (balance, movement,
pattern, rhythm, proportion and scale) to give
the viewer of an image a real sense of what I
was experiencing at that particular moment in
that particular place.

I hope you enjoy viewing these images."
